They Are Precious in His Sight

On Sunday morning, we left home in a beautiful sunrise to drive to Louisville for Haleigh's baptism.

Her daddy got her dressed in the dress worn by her mommy on her baptism day.

Matthew and Will were all ready for church, and spent some time playing a game together.

Aunt Fer and Haleigh. Pretty girls.

Pretty baby.

We made it to the church on time. Haleigh was blessed to have about 25 friends and family members there for her baptism.
There was a special banner up front in honor of her special day.

Pastor Ken talked about baptism in the children's sermon.

Standing up with Haleigh, along with her mommy and daddy and big brother Matthew, were their good friends Matt and Shelly, and their daughters Abbi and Makenna.

Matthew got to pour the water into the baptismal font.

Pastor Ken does the baptism,

and then shows her off to the congregation.

The sweet family after the service.

Matthew holds his baby sister.

Haleigh wore her great grandpa's baby ring, and a new bracelet of her own.

We got some sweet smiles.

After a great day celebrating our sweet little Haleigh, it was time to head home. I rode with Jennifer, and before we got to the corner, Andrew called to say she had forgotten her shoes. We circled back to get them (right past the Comfy Cow without stopping :() and he met us at the street with the shoes.

By the time we got to the bridge, Matthew was out. A nice ending to a great day.
